PROJECT ENGINEER-CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

In order to strengthen and expand our position even further we have an immediate opening for a Project Engineer/Construction Site Manager.

Responsibilities include:
1.providing technical planning of solar projects;
2.pricing of quotes and implementation planning including project documentation and associated calculations;
3.project management;
4.coordination of material deliveries; evaluation of offers and allocation of contracts and active monitoring of technical innovations.
5.Other responsibilities include conferring with personnel, owners, contractors and design professional to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
6.Planning, organizing and directing activities concerned with the constructions and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems. Scheduling of projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
7.Support of sales department/sales partners. Inspection and review of project to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
8. Prepare contacts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
9.Extensive travel required for site visits, permitting and project coordination.
REQUIREMENTS
An advanced degree in electrical, energy, mechanical, process or civil engineering is required. Work experience in the planning and realization of solar energy/photovoltaic systems is highly desirable. Successful candidates applying for this position should have 3+ years experience in building/construction with a working knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in construction; design, administration and management, customer service and engineering and technology.
