PE Civil Engineer, Land Development, SC (RM7149-RM8930)

Development of preliminary and final designs for earthwork, drainage, roadways and pavements as well as water and sewer utilities for land development and municipal projects.

Modeling and analyses as well as the production of engineering drawings, reports and other technical documents.

Supervise and monitor the work of others while participating in the production of the work.

Convey instructions orally, in writing and by demonstration.

Mentor, train, and manage engineering production personnel within a project management team environment.

Provide Project Management support to successfully manage contracts to scope, schedule, and budget adherence.

Attend meetings when called upon and present technical aspects of the project.

Heavy background in general civil engineering field. Experience in residential and commercial site design, grading, storm drainage, earthwork, roads, water and sewer pipelines.
REQUIREMENTS
PE in SC, NC or GA. (Or reciprocity) 5-7 years of land development experience. SCHGEE.

BS in Civil Engineering.


Must have computer software savvy with proficiency in AutoCAD, understand and use engineering calculation programs (i.e., Haestad, ICPR, etc.) and MS Office.


Must posses people skills that enhance the building of rapport with permitting agencies, land planning firms, construction firms, and other professional organizations associated with the engineering required in Building Healthy Communities.
