Oracle Applications Project Manager - Finance - Supply Chain
My client is seeking two Oracle Applications Project Managers to provide direction and coordination of cross-functional, operational phases of system development and/or enhancement of Oracle projects from concept to launch. One will be focused on Oracle Financials and one will be focused Supply Chain and Order Management. The selected Oracle Applications Project Managers will serve as liaisons, and be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion and close out.
The successful Oracle Applications Project Managers will be responsible for:
Providing strategic and tactical planning, organization and direction in support of project goals.
Preparing and managing of project plans, budgets, implementation schedules, scope and prioritization of critical tasks with input from project team members and senior management.
Identifying critical paths, potential hurdles and recommending appropriate actions.
Creating and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external partners.
Communicating with and influencing all levels within the organization to achieve project objectives.
Establishing and achieving project standards for work quality and quantity.Negotiating and reconciling project resources and external contracts.

REQUIREMENTS
The chosen Oracle Applications Project Manager will have:
4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree or equivalent experience.5 years of business and IT experience.2-3 years of experience managing development of dynamic, business initiatives driven applications within a team environment from project kickoff to production rollout
1-2 years of in-depth knowledge of business and technical aspects in either Oracle E-Business Suite modules:
Order Management applications, fulfillment process and business flowsFinancial Management applications GL, AP, AR, Asset Management and business flows.Supply Chain Management applications including purchasing, planning, forecasting and business flows combined with Order Management applications, fulfillment process and business flows
1-2 years experience with Oracle Applications 11.5.10, Oracle database 10g.
Knowledge of Oracle development platforms including PL/SQL, TOAD or other tools used for Oracle Application and Oracle database development.
Experience gathering requirements from multiple business units, and creating business requirements documents and use cases
Working understanding of all facets of Oracle development including strategies, design and implementation
MS Project or other scheduling tools required
Track record of prior implementations of Oracle modules: OM, FM and/or SCM highly desired
Experience with international retail business operating in foreign language, currency and local sales tax environment a strong plus
Development background preferred
