Currently, we are providing Project and Construction Management for over $1.6 billion worth of construction projects in the education marketplace. TBI personnel have extensive experience working with the Division of State Architect, the Office of Public School Construction, the California Department of Education, the State Fire Marshal, the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, and other agencies which inspect and approve public school construction in California.

We are currently looking for an appropriate candidate to fill the following positions:
Office Engineers
Assist in submittal procedures.
Maintain and distribute current contract plans and specifications.
Confirm contractor’s maintenance of record drawings.
Provide technical and engineering support to PM/CM.
Coordinate with surveying, testing and inspection staff.
Under the direction of the PM/CM, be responsible for field coordination with Contractor responding to field issues.
Assist in the analysis and recommendations of field issues with the PM/CM staff.
Prepare and review change order paperwork.
Collect deliverables of the Contract such as warranties, as-builts etc.
Monitor project punchlist.
Maintain project tracking log.
Perform other duties as directed by PM/CM.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Prefer BS or BA in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management or a closely related field.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in construction management, preferably in public works projects including educational facilities.
Experience in reviewing and preparing change orders and closing out projects.
Knowledge of Expedition preferred.
The 10-hour Cal OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety & Health must be completed by all employees working and/or visiting any project site within 30 days of hire date.
Must complete the Live Scan Fingerprinting application for submission to the Department of Justice within 14 days of hire date.
