Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager

As leaders in the field, we are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to join our health care team in Denver, CO working on some of the nations most impressive health care facilities.

The Mechanical Engineer will take responsible charge for and perform responsibilities on assigned projects which shall include but not be limited to: 1. Produce construction documents (drawings and specifications) for building new hospitals and for renovations and additions to existing hospitals.
2. Select appropriate equipment
3. Attend design meetings with Owners and Architects to determine project scope and coordinate between disciplines.
4. Develop design approaches and concepts on assigned projects 5. Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines
6. Execute specific engineering studies and design analyses
7. Review shop drawings, records changes and assists in communicating directly with supplier, contractors and client representatives
8. Perform on site inspections during construction and coordinate design requirements with contractors and equipment supplies.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Consulting Engineering, Health Care, Hospital and Institutional Facility Design
- Must be a registered PE - HVAC system design in healthcare facilities (4+ years)
- Project Management experience - required, including: RFP, RFI, man-hour projections, daily client interaction, business development, collections etc.
-You must be experienced and skilled in directing the work of others.
