We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years experience in Building Systems (especially HVAC & Building Automation), Construction/Design, Commissioning, and Building Integration. Work involves:
Commissioning and troubleshooting of building systems in new and existing construction.Detailed Commissioning of Building Automation Systems. Developing technical specifications, engineering plan and cost estimates.Conducting on-site commissioning/testing, surveys and meetings.Preparation of Commissioning Plans & Specs, Test Plans, field reports, and final reports - as examples.Coordinating work with contractors and vendors.Send cover letter and resume to: Mary Dunlap for Lutz Engineering. REQUIREMENTS
Necessary Skills:
Testing & Troubleshooting new and existing systemsField experience (including site inspections, interactions with trades & equipment vendors)
Excellent Interaction with a variety of professionals and building personnel Strong Technical WritingKnowledge of Excel and one or more Building Automation software packages

Travel: Substantial Travel in DE, MD, and DC including overnight stays – Road Warrior.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering – some experience and willing to be trained
Designations: PE or MS preferred or Working toward designation
