There is an opening in the Drilling Fluids group at Rankin Road in Reservoir Technology Services. This position reports to the Director of Reservoir Technology.Responsibilities:
Plans and conducts projects for Reservoir Technology Services. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of Reservoir/Drill-in/Completions proposals. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments of Technical Advisors in the Reservoir/Drill-in/Completions arena. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Performs field testing of prototype application and provides feedback to both internal and external customers. Provides product and application support for Reservoir/Drill-in/Completions. Develops technical documentation. Provides technical training on the use of all new products and applications. Initiates sustaining engineering upon the identification of deficient product performance. Handles special projects, as assigned. Skill Requirements: Knowledge of analysis, research and development efforts of the Reservoir/Drill-in/Completions product line. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent project management skills. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science. 10+ years experience in oilfield services industry and at least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
