Manager International Franchise Development

CKE Restaurants, Inc., has an immediate opening for a development manager providing real estate, construction, and restaurant development services and compliance oversight to new and existing franchisees for Carl's Jr., Hardee's and LaSalsa Fresh Mexican Grill brands. This position will report to the Vice President of International working from our office in downtown St. Louis.
Responsibilities include: Provides construction support to the international franchise community and ensures facility standards are met in all International restaurants. Reviews and approves new restaurant building plans and architectural drawing. Liaise with A&E resources in the U.S. and overseas markets. Provides on-site construction management direction when appropriate and evaluates restaurant facilities for operation. Assists the VP of International with site review and approval of new restaurant locations. Assists franchisees with new restaurant real estate process including market mapping, site selection and site review.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3-5 years as a commercial construction manager
- Restaurant industry/international experience preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills required
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact and influence franchisees in a multitude of environments
- Experience with restaurant and/or retail site development including site assessment, plan review, interior design material knowledge, and plan layout
- International travel is also a required competency
