Maintenance Planner

Company: Climax Molybdenum Job Function: Installation, Maintenance And RepairJob Description:Major Responsibilities:
Planning and scheduling of maintenance / contractor activities as required to minimize downtime and optimize manpower efficiency in collaboration with site maintenance & operations while supporting the goal of Zero & Beyond.

Oversees the maintenance management system. Administer all plant PM programs and associated documentation.

Identifying and resolving equipment problems and evaluate equipment reliability through predictability.

Maintain MIMS, track work orders, maintain parts lists, equipment manuals, work order backlog, organize annual plant shutdown, communicate effectively with all departments and maintenance / contract personnel, assist with budgeting / forecasting, generate ad hoc reports for management, coordinate new projects and assist with measurement of kpis.
-High school graduate with (5) yrs or more experience in manufacturing specifically with maintenance.

Excellent safety performance and high level of participation in safety processes. -Knowledge of plant processes and equipment.

Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and computer databases to utilize historical date and update current files.

Effective communicator.

Possess planning, prioritizing and scheduling skills for the maintenance of plant equipment.

Must be able to walk, stand, sit, squat, climb, possess manual dexterity, enter confined spaces, work outdoors as well as indoors and wear ppe including respiratory protection and can lift up to 30 pounds.

Good attendance historyPreferred Qualifications:
BS degree - Mechanical Engineering or related field

Previous maintenance planning experience

Good working knowledge of MIMS

Project management experience

Predictive maintenance skills

Strong computer skills in Microsoft OfficeCriteria/Conditions (specific background and skills):
Metals or chemical processing background

Knowledge of various types of equipment i.e. drying, conveying, crushing, milling, filtering, compressors, boilers, pumps, motors etc.~cb~
