Low Voltage Superintendent

Purpose: JOB TITLE: LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING SUPERVISOR

DEPARTMENT: LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION

POSITION REPORTS TO: LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION SALES MANAGER

RESPONSIBLE FOR: LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING LEADS AND LABORERS


POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for complete installation of residential and commercial landscape lighting systems in accordance with provided plans and specifications, procedures, quality standards, local codes, industry standards, and safety requirements.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Professionally represent our company providing necessary communication and coordination with crewmembers, supervisors, customers and representatives of other departments or trades.

2.Supervise and train crewmembers as necessary to ensure efficient and productive installation of lighting systems, in accordance with provided plans and specifications, procedures, quality standards, local codes, industry standards and safety requirements.

3.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of landscape lighting materials and proper installation methods.

4.Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment as necessary and as directed, in a safe and productive manner.

5.Demonstrate reliability and accountability on a consistent basis, including: attendance, thoroughness, quality control, customer service, maintenance and care of tools and equipment, innovation and self sufficiency. Lead through example and achieve consistent reliability and accountability from crewmembers.

6.Prepare and submit project documentation and required paperwork as directed.

7.Follow all Company and departmental policies and procedures, and ensure that those policies and procedures are followed by crewmembers.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / ABILITIES REQUIRED:

1.At least three years of professional experience.

2.Ability to meet the communication requirements of the position, including basic verbal and written English.

3.Basic math skills as necessary for proper lighting installation and as required for completion of required documentation.

4.Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds, with above average physical conditioning and manual dexterity as required to meet the needs of the position.

5.Experience in the safe, proper and efficient operation of trucks, vans, sod cutters, trenchers and miscellaneous hand tools used in lighting installation.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS.

1.Current 06 Electrical License

2.Valid driver license and satisfactory driving record
