Lead Planner/Scheduler - Project Controls

• Lead or provide solid support of Home Office planning/scheduling efforts of large petrochemical projects in the $400MM to $2B range
• Expected tasks include guiding the project in the overall planning process.
• Development of detailed schedules for FEL, EPC or Construction phases
• Track schedule and earned physical progress
• Identify delays and effectively report to management.
• Have solid knowledge and ability to implement department work methods, guidelines and procedures
• Our projects have the potential for sporadic travel or possible long term assignments overseas.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering is preferred • Must have previous supervisory experience
• Expert Primavera P3 user a MUST (P3e/c experience a major plus).
• Minimum 10 years Home Office Engineering & Construction experience in the Petrochemical industry including Front-End Engineering Load(FEL) & Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) stages
• Overall knowledge of project planning & detailed scheduling for all aspects of a project including: Engineering, Procurement & Construction
• MUST have solid technical skills and thorough knowledge of project controls principals and work methods
• Good analytical skills that will allow assessments of project performance problems and be able to develop and implement solutions via communication and support with Project Management
• Available for occasional sporadic travel or possible long term assignment overseas
