Northern Virginia/DC Area - #1809
Land Development firm seeking a CAD Operator/Manager to for a growing firm in Northern Virginia. Seeking an energetic CAD person to grow with the group and be responsible for all the CAD issues. Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2000 and MicroStation are required. Capability to produce graphic design and displays on materials such as PDF files and aerial photographs is highly desirable. Must express a strong desire and aptitude to learn and apply new techniques.
Northern Virginia - #1929
Candidate with a fair amount of experience performing ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, right of way plats, and route surveys for engineering site design and transportation projects. This candidate would be required to be competent in both AutoCAD 2005 and MicroStation V8 CAD platforms (LDD and GeoPak experience are a plus). Candidate will mentor and train other survey staff. CADD Technician should have at least 5+ years experience and an Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Qualifications include previous civil and municipal, or related, engineering experience. Must have experience using AutoCAD Land Development Desktop, Civil Design and Survey Software, and CAD concepts. Basic knowledge of computers; geometry, trigonometry and math; basic drafting skills; understanding of drafting software and CAD concepts; and the ability to read, interpret and draft plans, profiles, cross sections and details.
