HSE Radiation Safety Officer

Establish and oversee operating, safety, emergency and ALARA procedures and programs. Oversee the radiation protection training program. Ensure all radiation surveys, leak tests and inventories are performed and documented.Monitor dosimetry program; investigate and report excess doses. Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for radioactive material. Assume control and authority to institute corrective actions in emergency situations. Maintain all necessary records. Ensure the proper storage, use and transportation of radioactive material. Monitor compliance with the regulations. Serve as primary contact with regulatory agencies. Provide technical and regulatory support to US locations. Travel Requirements: Up to 30%.Posted: 9/14/2006
