HSE Manager

Overview: Baker Atlas currently has an opening for a HSE Manager in our HS&E Department. This position is located at 2001 Rankin Road, Houston, TX. Plans and manages environmental, health and safety programs for 1100 person facility. Manages and coordinates the work of HSE Specialists to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations and company policies. Manages risk and compliance of business critical elements associated with explosives, radiation, and hazardous materials. Manages elements of HSE Management System to include procedure development, performance analysis, training criteria, audit evaluation, incident investigation, and risk assessment. Responsible for developing a high performance safety culture, establishing HSE goals and plans. Responsible for training programs and initiating modifications/additions to facilities, equipment and procedures to reduce hazards or environmental impact. Assist in the development of behavioral based safety programs with specific applicability to the group processes/behavior and culture. Makes budgetary recommendations in order to comply with regulatory and corporation requirements. Effectively presents information and responds to questions or concerns from employees, managers, clients, regulatory agencies and the general public.
