HSE Environmental Specialist

Provides environmental oversight and technical direction for North America Operations, including environmental assessment for acquisition and divestiture of properties, waste reduction, permitting, site inspections, remediation, and regulatory compliance. Conducts environmental auditing of Baker Atlas North America facilities and Baker Atlas North America 3rd party waste vendors. Participates in incident investigation and reporting of environmental issues. Develops and delivers environmental awareness training for North America Operations staff. Represents HSE on various corporate and divisional committees and workgroups related to management and support of environmental programs, initiatives, and applications. Develops and periodically revises North America environmental operation controls (Standards). Ensures integration and compliance with HSE management system for operational environmental elements. Drives key initiatives such as energy and water conservation, waste reduction, recycling, and re-use; tracking and reporting, creation and dissemination of best practices. Audits sites and waste vendors and assists facilities with implementation of the HSE management system. Travel required: Up to 30%.Posted: 9/14/2006
