Title: Regional Human Resources Director-Manufacturing
Location: Alpharetta GA
The Company:
Our client provides a wide range of architectural masonry and ornamental concrete products, roof tiles, segmental retaining walls and interlocking pavers to professionals.
Position Goal:
To successfully plan and implement strategic HR processes and initiatives across assigned region in concert with the Regional President and the VP, Human Resources. To effectively support the efforts of the General Managers and local plant Human Resources staff to implement these processes and initiatives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Recruiting- workforce planning/development across region. Supporting regional and national recruiting and succession programs
Retention – ensuring competitive salary and benefit programs are offered throughout the region. Assisting General Managers with employee performance reviews
Training/Coaching - developing and stewarding regional training programs to ensure training standards are being met. Fostering mentoring skills, creating a coaching culture within assigned plants and region
People Development - partnering with General Managers and Regional Presidents on people development initiatives; developing strong present and future leadership talent within region
Employment Practices - ensuring effective compliance management processes and procedures
Organizational Effectiveness - driving HR Review process and ensuring consistent processes across region

REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications
8 – 10 years progressively more responsible Human Resources experience
3 + years of Human Resources management experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or Human Resources
Experience in multi unit operations
Ability to travel 25-40% of the time
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Proven organization and time management abilities
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Master's degree a plus. Professional certification preferred.
