HEALTH, SAFETY, and ENVIRONMENTAL (HSE) COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:A successful manufacturer of branded food products is looking for an HSE Coordinator to facilitate and assist in the identification, evaluation and control of safety and environmental risks and provide skills building and training with company employees. Some of the duties will include:
•Assist with implementation and compliance of programs and processes within the risk management structure
•Coordinate, interpret and ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and regulations regarding HSE within a plant setting
•Assist with conducting industrial hygiene monitoring for the facility
•Assist in auditing/inspecting, measuring and developing action plans regarding HSE plant status and progress.
•Compile and/or review required regulatory reports prior to submission
•Assist in driving improvements in key performance indicators
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS

•BS degree with major in industrial hygiene, safety or environmental areas
•Prefer 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
•Proficient in navigating OSHA, EPA and other key regulatory web sites.
•Excellent problem solving, creativity, and presentation skills
•Excellent change management skills in a fast-paced work environment
