Geotechnical Engineer performs field inspection and exploration of earthwork construction, deep foundation, and retaining structures; conducts test boring and in-situ testing; conducts geotechnical analyses of settlement, bearing capacity, soil and rock slope stability, liquefaction, seepage, shallow and deep foundations, earth and water retaining structures, buried conduits, and embankment design; prepares geotechnical reports.

Basic Qualifications:
BS in Geotechnical Engineering; or Civil Engineering or Geology with Geotechnical Engineering focus.
No minimum experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS required, MS preferred in Geotechnical Engineering; or Civil Engineering or Geology with Geotechnical Engineering focus.
No minimum experience required, 0 to 2 years experience with Geotechnical investigations, analyses (settlement, bearing capacity, stability, liquefaction, seepage, shallow and deep foundations), and construction preferred
