Field Engineering Technician

GeoSyntec Consultants, a national geoenvironmental engineering firm with an office in Tampa, is seeking a Field Engineering Technician for an entry level position within our Environmental Construction Services Division. Position requires extensive travel.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have 1-3 years environmental and/or geotechnical field experience in any of the following areas:

>Landfill Construction Quality Assurance
>Environmental studies;
>Phase I and II ESAs;
>Contamination assessments and remediation;
>Soil and groundwater sampling;
>Soil borings and monitoring well installation;
>Remedial system installation and O&M;
>Surveying;
>Geotechnical testing; and/or
>Construction management/inspection.

Ideal candidate will have good verbal and written skills, basic knowledge of common computer software applications, academic background in physical science, engineering, or related field.

Candidate must be physically fit, able to lift weight in excess of 75 lbs., able to work both independently and as part of a team, possess a strong work ethic, and have a clean driving record. Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.
