Field Engineer- Quantico, VA

We are a national General Contractor providing complex renovation, TI and design/build construction services around the country. Our clients include both government and institutional facilities across 17 states. We are seeking recent college grads for entry level Field Engineer positions to assist our Project Managers in the management of multiple projects long term. Scope of Responsibility:Primary responsibility is to perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing in Civil/Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines using a computerized estimating program; assisting in the procurement of subcontractors, materials and equipment; assisting in developing computerized project scheduling, monitoring and updating schedules; and assisting in the application and utilization of the job site information management system.Job Locations:Any project site for our current contracts or at the location of any new contracts. Centennial is a national general contractor and currently has project offices in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Washington and California.

B. S. degree in Civil Engineering or Building ConstructionComputer expertise with estimating systems, word processing and databasesFamiliarity with construction means and methodsSome construction experience through internships or summer workExcellent oral and written communications skillsMust be a US Citizen.
