Field Construction Engineer 1 - CCI

This position could be located in our Atlanta office or may be located in another office in our Southeast Region. Contruction Engineer for our Environmental Business Group to provide technical information to supervisor and contractors to insure work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions. Establishes working lines for contractors or crafts. Assists in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems. Performs routine duties requiring a knowledge of basic engineering principles. KEY DUTIES:

Maintains project data and documents, including drawings, specifications, test results, reports, reviews all design drawings and equipment specifications and makes daily field inspections.

Coordinates and schedules quality control inspections.

Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs.

Prepares construction-related reports based on job-site specifications.

May assist with preparing project chart of accounts, cost coding of invoices and verifying requests for payment by subcontractors.

Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent additional experience. Construction experience. Must be able to travel
