Our projects include financial institutions, health care facilities, and a variety of other commercial new builds and renovations.

We are seeking an experienced field superintendent to join our top-notch team of construction professionals. Core attributes that will lead to success in this environment are the ability to effectively lead others and inspire them as a strong work team to complete construction commitments on time, ability to manage a busy work schedule with multiple priorities and many contact points, communicate well, and keep commitments.

The position requires excellent organization, execution, and project management skills, as the successful candidate will manage every aspect of projects including: handling permits and negotiating with subcontractors; working with the project superintendent on scheduling; reviewing shop drawings and managing change orders from architects; arranging for timely delivery of all construction materials; implementing policies and procedures relative to pre-authorizations, change documentation, and the cost control process; maintaining and distributing project logs and documentation; inspecting work for compliance with terms and specifications of contract and cleanliness; reviewing punch lists; and ensuring successful completion of work.

In addition, the ability to influence others, communicate well, and gain consensus is also important. Project managers initiate and coordinate meetings and other communications with customers, vendors, field personnel, and project team members to ensure the satisfactory completion of projects. They are responsible for conveying information and resolving any problems that may arise. In addition, project managers document meetings minutes, change orders, and other contract documents, and distribute them to all stakeholders to ensure that they are appropriately informed. They approve invoices and submit them to the accounts payable department, and coordinate furniture installation with sales staff and end users.

The successful candidate should be computer literate (Use MS Word, Excel spreadsheets, and knowledge of WinSales, Expedition, SureTrak, and Timberline software is a plus)
