Experienced Plumbing Designer

As leaders in the field, we are currently looking for an experienced plumbing designer to join our health care team working on some of the nations most impressive health care facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
The Senior Plumbing Designer will take responsible charge for and perform responsibilities on assigned projects which shall include but not be limited to:
1.Produce detailed layout based on general guidelines.2.Prepare electronically generated drawings with accuracy, neatness and speed, maintaining high quality and uniform standards of lines and lettering
3.May assist in the data collection and/or field verification
4.Assist in the maintenance of files for all design drawings and project documents
5.May assist in load calculations
6.May assist in field verification, system design, and construction administration
Position Requirements:An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements:
•7+ years of applicable design experience in Consulting Engineering, Health Care, and Institutional Facility Design
•Proficiency in Microstation or AutocCADD is required
• Experience with any of the following, strongly preferred: medical gas, sanitary waste & vent, hot water/cold water piping, storm water and roof drain design, water purification systems, fire protection and RO water systems•You must be legally entitled to work in the United States and immediately available to begin work in the location specified.Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
