Nat'l steel service center with a facility in the greater Chicago area has an immed opening for a Sheet Metal Fabrication Estimator. We are looking for a person that is able to grow with the expansion of this portion of our bus. Initial resp incl growing and servicing new and existing accts in regard to their requirements for laser cut, punched & formed sheet metal parts. The estimator ensures high-quality cust service, incl on-time response to inquiries and on-time delivery of parts that meet or exceed the customer's specifications. Other resp incl managing the order writing process, assisting in rectifying problems, and soliciting cust feedback in regard to pricing and overall performance.

Bachelor's degree in related field or compensating sales exp in the steel indus or related mfg environment. Other qualifications incl excl fabrication aptitude, strong bus and mathematical skills, excl oral and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task, and strong computer skills (Lotus Notes, Excel, & Word) CNC prog a plus.
