Estimator for Casino Construction

Nationally recognized General Contractor is seeking to expand their team of professionals. They are seeking an Estimator with a successful track record in estimating projects such as casinos and medical facilities.

Estimator Responsibilities include:

1. material takeoffs
2. negotiating costs with clients (negotiated bidding)
3.solicit bids
4. award buyout of subcontracts
5. pricing and verifying proposed changes
6. subcontractor change orders
7. monthly subcontractor billings
8. negotiated/hard money estimating
9. complete estimation of project from the schematic phase through contract documents.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or construction related discipline desired; however experience in the construction industry may act as a substitute.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 year's experience in the construction industry. Experience with estimating casinos and/or medical facilities beneficial as weel as experience estimating projects larger than $50MM.

SKILLS:

Successful Estimator candidate must have strong computer skills, specifically with estimating software such as Timberline - plus previous experience and knowledge of construction and estimating greater than $50MM in size. Candidate must be able to communicate ideas and give specific direction effectively to construction team.

Successful Estimator candidate must have a strong work ethic and be willing to go the extra mile when needed.
