Environmental/Construction QC Technician
Purpose: Our client is a field services company specializing in Thermal Fluid Backfill across the country. They are seeking a Field/Quality Control Technicians to join their growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control Technician (QCTech) will perform laboratory and field sampling, testing and inspection of materials used and products manufactured by client. Material include sand, aggregate, Portland cement, fly ash, water and related ingredients. Products include controlled density fill, fluid thermal backfill (FTB), asphalt, concrete and related products.
2. Conduct inspections and calibrations of manufacturing equipment, make observations and records of pertinent information at production sites, maintain miscellaneous report logs (e.g., safety inspections, production logs.)
3. Work with Senior QC Tech's and the Vice President of Technology & Product Development (VPTech) to make quality control improvements/modifications, and to conduct research & development activities.
4. May be required to work nights and weekends (over-time). Although not required, individual should be willing to travel around the U.S. to conduct some or all of the above activities are welcome.
Supervision & Training:
- Quality Control Technician will be trained under and will report to the Senior QCTech and/or VPTech. Individual will work with the Senior QCTech, VPTech and/or others in developing new or modified test methods or protocol.
- QCTech will be encouraged to obtain certifications and potentially other training, as necessary. Client will pay for certification fees, however a QCTech may be required to obtain certifications off-hours on his/her time.
Qualifications:a
- A.S. Degree (or higher), preferably with strong math and science skills.
- Preferably geographical/construction materials and product testing; construction equipment operations.
- Strong attention to detail and conscientious work habits a must.

$13 to $15 Hour
