This position is under general supervision to perform difficult paraprofessional engineering work: draft & design plans; review bond requirements; review building permits for conformance with City codes, standards, & specifications; conduct field inspections of sites; & perform special engineering studies & reports. Requires 3 yrs of increasingly responsible exp. in sub-professional civil engineering or drafting with special emphasis on land surveying, development, design & construction. A valid CA Class C driver’s license is required by date of appt. $3,550.45 - $4,315.59/mo., + benefits including City-paid 8% PERS 2.7% @ 55. Apply by: 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2006.
