Engineer 1 - Civil

Duties/Responsibilities: Responsibilities include performing hydrologic and hydraulic computations and modeling as part of an Engineering/GIS team for FEMA Flood Studies, storm water and water resources projects, and working under the direction of the team leader. Education (Minimum Required): BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering Experience (Minimum Required): 0 to 4 years experience in water resources related work.
Some experience with H&H models such as HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-2, HEC-RAS, Arc View. Additional Education, Experience and/or Other Qualifications Desired: Must have good communication skills, written and oral.
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
Must be computer literate.
Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
Knowledge of National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) is a plus.
Knowledge of GIS technology. EEO
