Electrical Staff Engineer - Plant Construction Maintenance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supports the Plant Engineering Team by performing a variety of electrical trade functions.
- These duties include supporting corrective and preventive maintenance on facility systems, electrical equipment, and components, MCC, HVAC units, motors, and control power units.
- Involved in the installation of conduit, cable trays, race ways, bus-ducts, wiring and other associated electrical equipment in support of plant configuration changes.
· Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts and specifications in the performance of the duties to ensure system integrity is maintained.

Qualifications/Requirements:
· Candidate shall also possess a good personality and a willingness to work with a diverse group and adapt to cultural differences.
· Must be able to wear various types of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License desired.
· Requires a thorough understanding of electrical equipment operation, equipment maintenance requirements, and maintenance restrictions imposed by safety and environmental regulations.
· Good written and verbal skills.
· Strong Engineering ability.

Education/Training/Experience:
· 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering preferred.
· 3 to 5 years of Professional Engineering experience (no more than 5)
