Electrical Estimator / Project Manager

A successful and growing electrical contractor in the suburbs of Chicago is seeking a self motivated Electrical Estimator / Project Manager.

REQUIREMENTS


Required experience/attributes:

The capability to work closely with potential customers to assess their needs.

The ability to coordinate all aspects of project proposals including; timely proposal submissions, budgets, scheduling, staffing and material purchasing.
Providing start to finish support and follow-up to customers and the project superintendent to ensure company quality and performance standards are reached.
Demonstrated experience developing new business initiatives.
Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
The ability to work independently within teamwork based culture.
Must be detail oriented and highly organized.

Preferred experience/attributes:

Outside sales experience as well as three to five years of industrial/commercial electrical estimating experience.
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
Experience working in one or more of the following settings: refinery, printing plant, mill, steel services, commercial tenant build-out, new construction, power distribution.
