Driller Operator/Locator

Purpose: Teksystems has an immediate opening for a Driller. Our client, a major telecommunications company, is looking for an Outside Plant Driller.

The candidate will be operating five drills of various sizes. They must be able to locate utility lines using geotechnical data and charts and determine drilling angles from this information. Due to this, the candidate must be quick with math calculations and determining the correct degree. The candidate will also have experience pulling conduit, pipe, and cable

Must have at least 2 years experience in operating directional drilling equipment, locating, and mixing drilling muds. Familiarity with underground construction is preferred.
