Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, this is a newly created senior executive position in a fast-growing, project based business. The Director of Operations must have strong leadership, management, communication and analytical skills. The position reports directly to the President and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin headquarters facility including complete responsibility for manufacturing, purchasing, quality control, safety, international logistics, HR and administrative functions. There is matrixed responsibility for the engineering and project management staff based in Wisconsin. This person will also have full responsibility to manage a business unit with one fixed customer that requires a high level of customer service and continuous improvement.

In addition, the Director of Operations will have responsibility for developing, implementing and continually improving all company-wide cross-functional processes, human resources strategies and processes, procedures, communications, IT systems, controls and other resources and infrastructure required to maintain "Our Client's" fast pace of growth and reputation for client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
•10 years or more as a general manager or head of operations with increasing amount of responsibility.
•Strong project management background with strong experience in these areas: purchasing, production, quality control, operations, contract administration.
•Development and implementation of execution processes for several areas of operations.
•Experience with oversight of human resources including company-wide recruiting, training and performance metrics.
•Management and development of IT systems are preferred.
•Experience in a fast-growing business environment is preferred.
•Have experience working with international project or teams and be comfortable working with international team members.
