Crew Member

This position is an entry level job with the purpose of performing clean up and training for future positions in equipment and plant operations. Reports to Production Superintendent.- Performs labor tasks such as clean up,shoveling and preventative maintenance
- Learns to operate mobile and fixed equipment
- Drives water truck and ensures that haul unit roads are properly watered
- Assists in repairs to both mobile and fixed equipment
- Drives haul unit to move raw materials from excavation site to the plant- Other duties as assigned

Excellent personal safety record
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Labor experience in an industrial environment preferredPhysical Requirements:
Lift and walk with 75 lbs up to 30 feet as many as 8 times a day
Bending, stooping, climbing, crawling and reaching needed to perform clean up and maintenanceUtilize a variety of hand tools (wrenches, hammers, shovels)
Physicaly and mentally capable of being trained to operate heavy mobile and fixed equipment (Example: Operate foot pedals and hand levers; have sufficient vision to operate equipment safely; read and understand gauges and other indicator details,operators manuals)
Ability to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots and hearing protectionEnvironmental Factors:
Must work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme ambient temperatures of this location: heat, cold, dust, wetness and dryness. Noise levels up to 90dbs
