Contract Administrator for Seattle Construction Company

Downtown Seattle Construction Company is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join its dynamic team!

This position will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for reviewing standard contract documents for accuracy and completeness, and that pricing falls within established pricing floors. This includes communication with the sales organization to resolve any discrepancies. Create and review Letters of Agreement for single patient transactions. Perform contract research and other duties as assigned.

- Plans and arranges own day-to-day workload; establishes procedures and priorities to implement and maintain approved plans. Responds to day-to-day concerns and resolves existing or anticipated problems.

- Processes and monitors contracts and contract change orders and change order proposals.

- Coordinates new job start packet distribution, file set up and maintains complete and accurate contract files.

- Prepares, processes, and monitors subcontracts and subcontract change orders and procurement of subcontractor's certificates of insurance and other documents.

- Prepares Notice of Rights to Lien letters.

- Responsible for maintaining accurate job cost and contract information in CGC (time sheet adjustments, budget adjustments, subcontract adjustments, some change orders)

- Processes government reports for public projects.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree, although a portion of the higher level education requirement may be substituted by on the job experience. All candidates must have the ability to work with confidential information and a strong work ethic. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are also required, as are strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service. Prior experience in writing subcontracts and reviewing contracts and knowledge of job cost accounting is preferred.
