The Opportunity

The Construction Stakeout Lead Surveyor is urgently needed to build and oversee the construction stake out team, and will be considered a key position for the client's survey department. This position requires the successful candidate to perform stakeout computations, prepare cut-sheets, prepare construction stakeout proposals, oversee construction stakeout scheduling, interact efficiently with site superintendents, oversee 1-2 field crews, and perform building monitoring tasks. Typical projects will be 4-12 story "infill" buildings in downtown Washington DC; new and retrofit public school buildings/site improvements; courthouses; college campus buildings/site improvements; monitoring foundations, pilings, sheeting & shoring, and jacking operations for new and existing buildings and civil structures; and facilitate stakeout operations for new buildings, building additions, site improvements, and utilities for federal, state, county, and municipal agencies.



Requirements/Qualifications

Construction Stakeout Lead Surveyor will be a licensed surveyor or LSIT and must be a motivated self-starter experienced working with:AutoCAD 2005 LDD5 Data Collection Total Stations Robotic total stations GPS-RTK
