Construction Project Manager

Established design/build construction company in, Fredericksburg, Virginia is seeking an experienced commercial Project Manager or Asst. Project Manager with the ability to positively impact construction, manage all aspects of multiple projects and assume complete control of the construction and close-out process.

Be able to demonstrate the desire to effectively manage the entire accounting process (P&L) and want the associated responsibility. Able to successfully manage subcontractors, perform site development functions, control and contain costs, maintain schedules, provide guidance and direction to a diverse workforce and communicate effectively at all levels. Have a complete understanding of the building codes, health and safety requirements (OSHA), permitting process, drawings and specifications, value engineering, and regulatory issues.Candidates will have at least five (5) years of verifiable experience in the commercial construction industry with commercial construction buildings(such as drug stores, grocery stores, 1-4 story buildings, tenant fit-out, siting, etc.). Individulas with limited commercial experience or residential only experience need not apply. A degree in construction management is highly desired.
