Position Sumary:Your main responsibility will be to manage field execution of multiple capital projects in all units of the refinery spanning multiple years. We are looking for someone who is able to manage resources, separate and coordinate projects by discipline, oversee the work of craft personnel, put estimate packages together, control costs, maintain schedules for field execution and keep the Site Construction Manager informed on project progress. This position attracts people who are passionate about the technical aspects of construction. While we are seeking a candidate with a good technical background and an interest in our industry, we also need someone with managerial and leadership skills because that is what this job is all about – getting results through people. You must excel in your thinking skills, in your communication skills, in your ability to execute projects from concept to completion, and in your ability to challenge costs and situations. REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%
Work Experience/Skills Required: 5-15 years experience managing capital projects preferably in a refinery or large industrial environment.
Proven track record in a project management role defining standards, processes and procedures that affect all aspects of construction.
Education: Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school.
For development purposes, an Engineering degree is highly preferred.
