Construction Manager

Purpose: We have a need for a construction project manager.

About the company: They are a small Construction Management firm that provides Project Management, Construction Management,
Staff Assistance, Civil Engineering Services, and Construction Observation mostly for public works projects. Current clients include the City of Long Beach (Public Library), Signal Hill, Culver City and La Habra. Their work includes Construction Management and Civil Design for roadways and utilities ($50K-$100K projects ? small). They are on-call contractors with the cities which mean that they do not even have to bid for some jobs, but will simply receive a phone call requesting that they do the work. The 4 Principals recently bought the company from the owner; they are all PEs. They currently have 14 employees and are in a growth phase. Family oriented work environment. They value employee retention and staff that is independent, responsible, and self-motivated.

Need: (Assistant) Construction Manager
~5+ years of experience with Construction Management
Could come from a GC

Experience: Diverse project experience/Diverse project base
Great Communication Skills

We would be willing to consider an estimator too who could do a little of both ? CM and Estimating
