Construction Implementation Consultant

Our client has a hosted communication and collaboration solution that streamlines design and project management among team members throughout the design, construction and facility lifecycle. We are currently in need of an associate consultant with detailed experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities of this position include leading training and implementations for small to mid scale clients The ideal candidate will sometimes assist in large-scale implementations. This candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations. This candidate must be a self-starter who possesses initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients.



Client Skills Required:
Assess/evaluate client needs for initial scope of project, determine project plan, schedule and agenda as related to training.
Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication.
Responsible for managing client expectations.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously.
Ability to command a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment.
Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, marketing, operations and within the Solutions Group)..



General Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule time and/or travel itineraries pertaining to your client assignments (which may include booking travel for much of the following: air, hotel, car rental, directions, etc.).
Responsible for tracking billable and non-billable time/expense. Individual will be held responsible for high utilization in the team environment and for keeping expenses reasonable. These must be communicated to accounting and the Solutions Group Director on a monthly basis.
Test areas of the product at the appropriate time of development rollout.
Responsible for maintaining product knowledge, implementing and training latest features and functionality of product at the client site.
Cultivate the client relationship through small implementations and all types of training engagements, which include growing the demand for solutions services (additional training and implementation services).
Present product knowledge/expertise both in a training, implementation and sales environment including trade shows, conventions and public speaking engagements.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates can live in Atlanta, West Coast (includes TX), and NY

Two + years of experience in construction industry, either in management, engineering, sales, training or operations, or equivalent experience.
Experience in commercial construction processes within GC/CM/ARCH/OWNER operations preferred.
General knowledge of AEC industry a must.
Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio.) experience preferred. General knowledge of IT: Internet, Infrastructure and Networks. WebEx experience a plus.
Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must.




EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; Engineering, Business, Construction Management degrees are preferred or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. .
