Venga Ventures, a commercial self storage real estate development company, is looking for a qualified individual to join its Boise, Idaho, team.

Commercial Real Estate Development Manager

The job -
Position reports to General Manager while managing commercial real estate from project design through construction operations such as the following:
New Project Due Diligence - Oversee feasibility assessment of prospective development projects, including development of construction cost estimates and identification of potential market and construction risk factors.
Project Design Management - Oversee development of project design specification. Ensure compatibility with corporate branding requirements. Ensure compatibility with site specific market requirements.
Project Budgeting - Oversee development of pre-construction planning budgets and final construction budgets and timelines. Ensure that budget change order procedures are followed.
Vendor evaluation - Monitor subcontractor selection and contracting. Perform extra due diligence on critical supplier categories including Steel Building Manufacturers.
Construction Project Management - Maintain daily interface with General Contractor(s) for each project. Monitor progress against budget and construction timelines. Maintain high level of accountability to existing budgets and timelines. Provide problem solving assistance as needed.

Benefits -
Annual Salary: $75,000 per year. Annual Incentive: $30,000 at 100% of plan.
REQUIREMENTS
5 or more years in commercial development construction management or related field (architecture, civil engineering, construction engineering).
Experience with project financial analysis. Must be comfortable with Excel.
Experience with project management and budgeting software.
Creative/analytical problem solving.
