Commercial Drywall Project Manager

Divisions Contractors is a Charlotte-based, Commercial Drywall and Metal Framing Company.

We have immediate openings for Project Managers to manage multiple large projects.

Salary and Bonuses based on experience.

Primary duties include managing pre-construction, execution, and closeout of projects. Assisting with estimating, RFIs and Submittals, managing change orders, providing hands-on assistance with take-offs and general production work.


• Responsible for manpower planning and monitoring of completion activities
• Create and manage Construction Schedule
• Assist w/ bid requests to Subs and materials-Suppliers
• Evaluate the “scope of work” of projects while
• Price and negotiate change orders and extra work.
• Accountable for overall project(s) performance and profitability
• Promote company's Zero Tolerance Safety Program
• Assist in procurement of equipment, materials and labor
• Coordinate schedule with GC and other trades
• Maintain current cost reporting and project information logs
• Insure proper startup and commissioning
• Handle owner training and warranty
• Process punch list and project close out responsibilities
• Provide Weekly Project Reporting and Updates

REQUIREMENTS
• Must have experience managing Commercial Drywall Projects with values > $750,000.
• Five (5)+ years industry experience
• Highly organized with strong documentation skills
• Must communicate well with Senior, Junior and Field construction professionals
• Proficient with the following computer programs - Microsoft Word, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
• Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to respond quickly to changing customer demands
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
• Strong math and calculation skills.
• Associates degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, building construction, or equivalent experience++
• Must project a professional that inspires confidence and trust
• Bi-lingual in Spanish ++
