Kelso-Burnett Co. is one of the oldest and largest full service electrical contractors in the Midwest, serving the greater Chicago Metropolitan area. Today Kelso-Burnett is an employee owned organization with Branch offices throughout Northern Illinois.

We are looking for a Collections Administrator to be a hands on, friendly account receivable expediter for many divisions. The successful candidate must be able to handle customers, identifying the problem and escalating issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities:
Obtain payment commitments and monitor all collection correspondence.
Alert appropriate personnel regarding collection issues and billing disputes.
REQUIREMENTS
Collections Administrator
Requirements:
Some college is required, but a degree is not necessary.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Must be able to perform duties and functions without close supervision.
Prior construction experience is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, including strong telephone skills.
Proficiency with Word and Outlook required.
