Civil EngineersVollmer Associates LLP, a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering is seeking to fill several civil engineering positions in the Virigina area. We have provided civil engineering, landscape architecture and planning services to public and private clients since 1959. Our civil engineers ensure that site development projects are supported by a well designed network of infrastructure and that roads and highways are designed to be safe and cost-effective.
REQUIREMENTS
Vollmer's offices in Leesburg and Winchester, Virginia are seeking to fill the following positions for Civil Engineers:Civil Enginer - Municipal (Leesburg) with a minimum of 10 years experience in municipal engineering. Applicant must have knowledge in zoning ordinances, review of site and subdivision plans, design of storm sewer and roadway improvements, and construction administration. Excellent communication/ writing skills and project management skills in managing budgets, schedules and staff is required. BSCE and VA PE license is required.Civil Engineer - Project Manager (Leesburg) with 10-15 years experience in site design and development tasks for major projects. Qualified candidates mush have knowledge in site and drainage design, coordination of existing utilities, roadway, alignment, and grading. Experience in VDOT design, as well as regional familiarity with design in Loudoun County and Town of Leesburg in Virginia. Excellent communication/writing skills required. Existing project management skills in managing budget, schedules, and staff. BSCE and/or BSLA preferred. License is required.Civil Engineer (Winchester) with 5-10 years experience in site design and development tasks for major projects. Qualified candidates mush have knowledge in site and drainage design, coordination of existing utilities, roadway, alignment, grading and be proficient in using AutoCAD, Word, & Excel. Experience in VDOT design, Shenendoah Valley/City of Winchester development processes is preferred. Excellent communication/writing skills required.
