Clark Engineering Corporation, a leading midwestern civil engineering consulting firm with a 68-year history providing quality engineering and surveying services, has an immediate opening for a permanent full time Civil Engineering Technician in our Aberdeen, South Dakota office. This is an opportunity to work independently as well as part of a team responsible for producing preliminary and final plans for civil engineering and land surveying projects. The Civil Engineering Technician will prepare detailed engineering drawings using field data or existing drawings, research existing engineering records, and perform engineering computations. The candidate may also accompany survey crews or field technicians as needed in order to locate grading markers, collect data required for revision of construction drawings, and/or perform engineering tests.

REQUIREMENTS
0-6 Years civil design experience
Prefer Associate Degree or technical school graduate in Civil Engineering Technology
AutoCad experience required
Able to follow through with tasks
Able to work accurately and carefully
Able to interact in a friendly, business-like manner with those contacted in the course of doing business
Good working knowledge of surveying principles and standards would be a plus
Must be eligible to work for any US employer
