S&ME, Inc. is an award winning engineering and environmental services company ranked in the top 100 firms nationally. S&ME has 21 offices in the southeast with over 800 employees. We currently have an opening for a Civil Engineering Staff Professional in our Charlotte, NC office.



Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills, strong work ethics, and the ability to work as a team player.



BS or MS in civil, environmental or geotechnical engineering


0-3 years experience


E.I. or E.I.T certification required



Position responsibilities include but are not limited to report preparation, engineering analyses and design, drawings, specifications and construction quality assurance of solid waste management, dams and storm water management systems. Experience with AutoCad, GIS, and storm water modeling is a plus.



Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, drug screen, and criminal background report will be required. Visa assistance will be considered.
