Civil Engineering

Martin & Martin Civil Engineers & Surveyors, one of the premier Civil Engineering Companies and award winning Fortune 500 companies in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking civil engineering and designer positions as follows:

Project Manager: Must be highly motivated and have 2-4 years experience as a project manager. Ability to obtain Nevada P.E. within 6 months. Will perform responsible professional work to direct and coordinate the design and construction of projects, directing a project team. Candidate must possess leadership and strong communication skills. Knowledge of local standards preferred.

Project Engineer: Must have 2-4 years experience as a registered engineer working on residential, commercial or municipal projects working under the direction of a project manager or principal engineer. Ability to obtain Nevada P.E. within 6 months. Must have good written skills and work well in a team environment.

Drainage Department Manager: Candidate should have B.S. in Civil Engineering with Nevada P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months. Working knowledge of standard hydrologic/hydraulic computer software such as HEC-1, WSPG, HEC-RAS, and FlowMaster required. Ideal candidate would have experience preparing and reviewing technical drainage studies per Clark County Regional Flood Control District criteria. Must have good written skills and work well in a team environment.

Drainage Engineer: Candidate ideally would have 2 to 4 years experience preparing local drainage studies with an understanding of local criteria and procedures. Must have good written skills and work well in a team environment. Experience using drainage programs such as HEC-1, WSPG, HEC-RAS, and FlowMaster is preferable.

Civil Designer: Candidate should have 2-4 years experience working as a designer on residential, commercial or municipal projects under the direction of a registered engineer. Knowledge of local design criteria preferred. Must have good written skills and work well in a team environment.

Civil Drafter: Minimum 1 year experience in civil drafting for residential, commercial and public works. AutoCAD 2004 land development desktop and LDD preferable. Knowledge of AutoCAD 2007 and Civil 3-D helpful.
