Civil Engineer - Land Development

Purpose: Experienced Civil Engineers for Land Development/Transportation Firm.


West Coast based Civil Land Development firm with multiple locations throughout the area seeks the services of a qualified Civil, Mechanical Engineer to become part of a team of experienced engineers and other technical staff. This full service consulting firm participates in all areas, from survey to architecture.


The qualified individual will possess a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering field. This individual will have experience with both commercial and residential projects. Strong communication is a must for this candidate as he/she will be responsible for speaking to clients and other team members. Working as a lead on many projects with over site from professional engineers. Working with other staff in accordance will be a primary focus.

The successful candidate will perform land development civil design calculations (grading, drainage, paving, commercial site design, geometric design, utility design, subdivisions, etc.) sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignments. Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group. Reviews drawings supplied by vendor, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes.

The salary range for this position is $45,500-$65,000 DOE. This will be a direct hire with the company in question.
