Civil Engineer - Hydrology & Hydraulics

As an employee-owner, youll have a genuine stake in the success of our company and share in our commitment to exceptional customer service.This is a senior project engineer position in our Golden Colorado office that involves the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design of water resources projects including dams, spillways, outlet works, penstocks, intake towers, terminal structures, and water conveyance facilities. Responsibilities include engineering analyses including modeling experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-1, and HEC-HMS; preparation of reports and technical memoranda; development of design drawings, construction specifications, and cost estimates; and ability to coordinate and collaborate with other team members. During project construction, responsibilities may include shop drawing submittal review and construction observation. Experience with advanced modeling tools such as WMS, DAMBRK, AutoCAD, and GIS, and preparation of work scopes and professional fee estimates would be a definite plus.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years progressive engineering experience. The ideal candidate will have engineering experience associated with dams, appurtenant structures, and conveyance facilities. Must have strong communication skills and a history of effective project delivery and client satisfaction.Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering.
