Burns & McDonnell has exciting opportunities for Senior Civil Engineers in our Energy team at our world headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
This position is responsible for performing design on various projects and preparing estimates proposals. Progressive design and project management responsibilities. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members. Meet and interact with client. Some marketing responsibilities. Other responsibilities include design of civil infrastructure associated with the development and construction of power plant facilities. Railroad, transportation, site grading, storm drainage, fluid hydraulics and/or solid waste landfill design experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from accredited program plus 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. PE. Consulting experience preferred.
