Civil Engineer - EIT

Purpose: One of the top Civil Site Engineering firms in the downtown Providence, RI area is looking for a motivated civil Junior Civil Site Engineer to join their team. Ideal candidate must have 2-5 years experience doing civil site design, site layout, with solid AutoCAD experience. Client emphasizes a candidate with solid design ability. Candidate must know and understand other engineering software like (Land Development Desktop). Perfect candidate would be someone that can take a civil site project form start to finish without any training. You must be able hit the ground running in terms of site design projects. Candidate must understand Grading and Drainage, Stormwater regulations and permitting. The position breaks up into 85% of their time would be in the office designing civil site projects and 15% of their time would be at the sites, meeting with clients, and attending some meetings. Projects to be worked on will be mostly commercial site plans.
